The Mobile Revolution - Enterprise and Consumer Experience Finally being realized

The Mobile Revolution – Enterprise and Consumer Experience Finally being realized

October 16, 2008

Yes it is finally going to happen.  (I still miss my Newtons (:-<) . . . .)

Nevertheless,

Mobile computing is going into http://www.Warp.com drive.

Witness yee, the standard MIE, Netscape inverse market share vs time graph of Mobile computing taking over the laptop.  It will be an astonishing next few years. It will happen faster than anything we have seen.

Mobile will take over and become screen #1.

All companies will need to learn how to monetize their ad revenue on mobile, build responsive websites, and learn how to sell and disseminate information on mobile.

It’s gonna explode and That means opportunity.

Apple look at your annual report and your revenue streams. This must be enhanced as the core revenue of the next few years, and dump endless cash into R&D to make it happen, the play is too important.  DO NOT Let it be stolen from you!

With Android and the G1 (looking amazing for a first run product although presently highly inferior), you gotta partner, or if you are going to restrict licensing again, you Have to get it right.  The spoils are too bountiful.  Google is too smart and they have the resources.  Fear Them!

Other manufacturers like Samsung are behemoths that can enter the space.  Do not rest on your laurels.

The dream, spawned by in the conception of the Newton, it’s odd failure (just too big, you had to add that second PCMCIA slot!)

Anyway, we are about to witness the HyperLocal HyperMobile©, (HLHM) revolution.

This paradigm shift is so big, it is a tsunami wave the size of the dawn of the web.  And will explode.  So hold on to your hats. I will opine  on this again, unless I get distracted by something more important.

Enterprise and consumer level software will be developed at lightning pace.

Apple, you can own this Mommy.  Take it. It is yours.

Sometimes there is risk, and sometimes there is risk. This is an imperative.

Mark these words.

I’ll talk to you soon.

Signing off for this moment,

Scotty
